Photocontest Exhibit Rules
  1. Entry to this PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST  is free and open to all Diplomates, Fellows and Training members of the Philippine College of Radiology.
  2. One can submit a maximum of three  (3) photographs entries only.
  3. Photographs must be original and must be the participants’ own work. Photographs should be in BLACK & WHITE prints only.
  4. PRINTS OF YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS should be submitted to the PCR Office, or at the Department of Radiological Sciences, University of Santo Tomas Hospital or at the Division of Nuclear Medicine, Philippine Heart Center. We will NOT develop prints of your photographs.
  5. Size of Photograph is 11” x 14”.  Advice to use Digiprint at 300 dpi for better outcome of photos. (When you apply as member of Digiprint pro located in Malls, discounts for prints are given).
  6. For uniformity, all photographs must be mounted in the same size - frame of 3” black frame illustration board, with a foam board support at the back of the photograph. You could personally do this or have it made with us, at a nominal cost of P200.00 only per photograph to cover cost of materials.
  7. Submission of photographs should accompany an entry form which is included in this exhibit invitation. Also include a CD containing the 3 photographs. A powerpoint presentation will be shown featuring all the photographs in the exhibition
  8. Theme: BLACK & WHITE: Photographs in the Eyes of a Radiologist. Deadline of submission is January 15, 2010.
  9. Entries should be appropriate for the general audience. The PCR Photography Contest Committee reserves the right to reject any photograph entries.
  10. Receipt of  the photograph prints will be acknowledged by email.
  11. Photographs will be exhibited at the PCR Annual Convention on February 18-20, 2010 at the SMX Convention Center, Level 2, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.  Exhibit opening is on February 18, 2010.
  12. This Photograph Contest will go on as scheduled provided there will be at least 30 entries received.
  13. Prizes: Trophies, Cash and Digital Cameras
  14. Awarding of prizes will be on February 20, 2010, during the Induction Night of the PCR Annual Convention.
  15. The photograph competition is not open to the PCR Annual Convention Committee members and PCR Officers and Board of Directors.
  16. Winning entries shall become the property of the PCR. The decision of the Board of Judges is final.
  17. The PCR Photograph Contest Committee also welcomes NON COMPETING ENTRIES which will be part of the Exhibit. For non competing entries, entries of different sizes will be accepted,
